Summry: Brian ihas to choose between taking all the things that his mom is putting him through or just to walk out and leave like his father did.But is only aroud 8 years old and to be that young it is a crucial desicion and you relly have nowhere to go.His mom starves him to the point were he is stealing peoples lunch and food from the store.When his mom finaly found out that he was eating she made him throw up s he could have evidence to show the dad and then later makes him eat his own throw up.

Explanation:This book is a really good cross between a drama story and a heartache story. plus its a true story.It shows how cruel a person could get to their own kind.It leaves you heartbroke to the fact that you wonder how can someone do that to such a small and young kid .he is at that stage were he need someone to rely on because he can not rely on himslf
